Yes. I am in the architecture field.
I always love to introduce myself as an Architect.
Well... Architects are sexy.
But as glamourous as it sounds, being an Architect is tough.
We often pratice theory.
Theory for other well know architects or maybe develop your own step by step.
We rarely do the exact same thing week to week.
Working out details of building joinery.
Make sure the building is healthy, without water ingress.
Preventing condensation to happen between walls
which would cause concrete cancer to happen.
Look! we also have cancer in Architecture!
i always feel that we are the doctor of human needs and environment =)
Being an architect
You cannot half-ass things.
You cannot sorta know stuff.
You have to know.
you have to be sure.
commanding.
Thats what i like about Architecture.
